How will my donation be used?
Our main expense items relate to benevolent support, rent, community projects, training, travel, camps and staff salaries.
Benevolence:
We help meet the needs of church members who are financially stretched.
Rent:
We rent facilities at Greenwood School, with whom we have a long-term partnership.
Community Outreach:
We partake in projects which help poor communities, working closely with Hope Worldwide.
Training:
We encourage and sponsor our current and potential ministry leaders to attend education and training programmes/courses which will help them grow and be more effective in ministry.
Travel:
We believe strongly in connecting with other churches in the world, and contribute towards the costs of travel to and from our church.
Camps:
We believe in investing in our youth, and sponsor attendance of church camps which help them grow and make life-long friends from elsewhere in SA and the world.
Staff Salaries:
We are blessed that our present leaders are full time volunteers, but we pay modest salaries to interns and a part-time church administrator.
We strive to be above reproach in our finances and to be good stewards of the money which God entrusts to us. Our Annual Financial Statements are prepared by independent auditors and are available on request.
